The St. James Plantation Beach club at Long Beach, North Carolina. This project earned Shoreline a 1995 "Design Excellence Award" from the American Institute of Building Design for its traditional coastal styling and its proper fit into the coastal environment. A triad of elements, the Club features an entry pavilion, swimming pool, cabana pavilion and bath house pavilion with connecting and intertwined decks.
This Master Bath is a Shoreline creation that incorporates a spacious "Roman shower" with glass block enclosure, a tiled whirlpool, hidden commode area and a two-sided, angled "His and Hers" vanity structure with subtle curves. The colors in muted sienna and other earthtones create a serene and restful enviroment to begin and end the day.
A wonderful kitchen in which to prepare a meal. This sweeping and curvlinear creation of granite countertops, custom cabinetry and custom lighting is the focal point of this home on the intracoastal waterway. The kitchen was positioned to view the waterway while the gourmet's were cooking breakfast, dinner or supper. As seen, the curved tray ceiling contains hidden lighting to create an "ambient glow" in the evening.
